As Manager Operations is Jeroen responsible for the daily operations concerning Logistics, Finance, IT and Trade Marketing. As Business Support Manager at Kernpharm he was in 2010 introduced to the Benelux OTC-market. Previously he worked in several business controlling roles in the fashion, health&fitness and staffing industry. At the base of his career was his education at the Hotel Management School Maastricht.
Joey van Vugt
As sales & marketing support manager, is Joey responsible for the smooth completion of the entire sales process. He is in constant contact with all customers, our account team and answers all product-related questions from consumers. He also supports our marketing team. He is THE spider in the web of Salveo Pharma. After an MBO Marketing, Communication & Events, Joey achieved a Bachelor Communication at the Fontys Academy for Creative Studies.
Maurits van Tol
After studying Biochemistry his first contact with the pharmaceutical business was his position as district manager for Glaxo Wellcome. After 5,5 years he switched to Kernpharm bv and held several marketing positions, the last for 11 years as Marketing Director. At Engelhard Arzneimittel GmbH, Germany he was 3 years responsible for the (inter)national marketing of the entire product portfolio. Early 2015 van Tol decided to establish Salve Pharma and to take over the distribution of the Engelhard Brands Trachitol®, isla®, Prospan® and Nisita® in the Netherlands and Belgium.
As account manager is Kees the main contact for all independent drugstores, health food stores and pharmacies in the Netherlands. With is 20 years’ experience in the Dutch OTC-market including Kernpharm, Wyeth, Pietercil Barends he supports his customers with product-training, tailor-made shelf plans, Point-of-Sale activities and other relevant sales supporting advices.
Manon Gerrits Jans
As Key Account Manager is Manon the main contact for all Drugstore, Retail and Supermarket organisations. With over 15 years’ experience in the Benelux OTC-market at VSM and Reckitt Benckiser she is a highly valued and respected business partner for our Key Accounts. Manon graduated as Bachelor Consumer Studies.
The marketing department is led by Henny Wijgergangs. As an experienced and widely skilled marketer, she is the driving force behind the brand policy of Salveo. After having gained experience at companies such as Organon and Novartis, where she was responsible for brands like Wasa, Ovaltine and Isostar, she moved to Kernpharm in the late 90’s, where she was responsible for a variety of brands for more than 14 years. Thanks to her inspiring leadership, many of these brands progressed to top 3 positions. After a short break in the leisure industry, she decided to proceed as an independent marketing and communications expert. However, the OTC brands seduced Henny again and since early 2016 she joined the Salveo team.
From July 1st 2016 the marketing team was strengthened by the arrival of Michelle Kuijpers. After her study International Business and a Master in Marketing Management Michelle started in 2014 working at Omega Pharma as Brand Manager OTC and VMS. In this multinational, she was responsible for the strategic marketing and communication activities of various top OTC brands.
After a Bachelor in Business Economics and a Master in Marketing Management, Tamara became acquainted with the Dutch OTC market in 2015. As (junior) Brand Manager at VSM, she contributed to the successful development of various brands. From the beginning of 2018 she became the third Brand Group Manager to strengthen the marketing team.
After completing his marketing & Communication courses at the Koning Willem I College and at the Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg, Thomas started to specialize in Digital Marketing. This provides him a good basis to strengthen Salveo’s digital marketing team since November 2017. In his spare time Thomas spends a lot of time on sports.
